Return to Lowry Park Zoo

Okay, I admit it - I love zoos. So here are a few more from Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo.

Tiger.

This isn't a particularly good photo, and I'm not sure what kind of animal this is, but I think it's cool.

A couple of water fowl.

A mother and baby Orangutan.

An old man Chimpanzee, who looks like he means business.

Some Ring-Tailed Lemurs.

Black and White Angolan Colobus.

Don Cesar Hotel

The Don Cesar Hotel is very close to Fort De Soto Park, so I stopped there on my way home from the park to get a few photos. My usual statement about the Landmarks I've Visited links applies here too.

Wide angle view of the front.

Closer in on the middle.

And close in on the top section.

Fort De Soto Park, St. Petersburg

Fort De Soto Park is on Mullet Key at the very southern tip of Pinellas County, Florida. Information concerning the park can by found by following the link in the Landmarks I've Visited section.

An Australian Pine is surrounded by sea oats.

An interesting looking plant is growing within the old fronds on the trunk of this palm tree.

What's a fort without a cannon?

Looking through the bars.
