The last time I went to the Stratosphere (now just the Strat) was in December, 2002. I included a couple of photos from that visit in an earlier post on this blog. On this trip, I made sure to document much more of the inside of the tower. It's pretty interesting!

Around the Las Vegas Strip

After the conference session ended on Monday, we took to the streets to explore the Las Vegas Strip. It had been many years since I'd been to Las Vegas, so there were a lot of new sights to see.

Las Vegas Stopover

My next stop on the L.A. Road trip was Las Vegas. I spent a couple of days here, including Christmas. I stayed at the most excellent Golden Nugget Hotel on Fremont Street downtown. I love downtown, especially the Golden Nugget and the Four Queens. The Four Queens has an amazing mezzanine where you can dine and watch the gaming action below.

Unfortunately on this stop, none of my photos turned out well (or any on the trip, for that matter), but I've included some anyway.
