After the beach and lunch, I wandered my way in a northerly direction toward the airport. Along the way I stopped to take a few photos.
During my Los Angeles vacation, I was actually staying in a wonderful B&B in El Segundo. As it was very close to the beach, my first morning there found me walking up El Segundo Beach and Dockweiler State Beach. Another perfect morning on the West Coast.
The first thing I do whenever I go to LA (which, unfortunately, isn't very often) is stop at the In-N-Out Burger near LAX on Sepulveda between Westchester Pkwy and Lincoln Blvd. Then I make my way directly to the small park just south of the In-N-Out Burger where countless other plane spotters gather to watch airliners come and go, to and from destinations all over the world. Here I've posted just a couple of spotting photos, but there will surely be more to come.
I flew to Los Angeles for a much needed vacation and to attend a concert by... The Strokes at the Forum. It was one of the best vacations I've had in a while. One of the best parts was that I got to fly on my favorite aircraft type... the intrepid Boeing 757.
I went to a concert at the Truman in Kansas City, Missouri. Got a few shots of downtown while I was there.
