San Francisco Trip 2019

I attended a conference in San Francisco in August, 2019. It was the coldest August think I've ever spent in my life, but it was a wonderful trip anyway. To follow are what were the highlights for me during the few days I was there.

Mammatus Clouds on the Morning Walk

This morning the sky was completely filled with mammatus clouds, but fortunately, there was no severe weather nearby.

July Blooms on a Morning Walk

Spotted these flowers during an early July walk in 2019. Sometimes the simplest details along the path make the day feel brighter.

Foggy Morning in Again Street Park

There's a park not too far from home, Again Street Park, that is on my morning walking route. On this particular early summer morning, the fog provided an interesting backdrop to the scene.

Overcast Day at the San Antonio Riverwalk

Today I visited the Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas. It was an overcast day, but it was still beautiful... plus it was St. Patrick's Day! 🍀

Stop at the Geographic Center of the Contiguous US States

I was passing through Kansas on US Highway 36 and decided to stop at the Geographic Center of the United States. Actually, it was the center until Alaska became a state, but it's still the center of the lower 48.

Return to the Burr Oak Tree

 I rode out to the big Burr Oak Tree today, It's hundreds of years old and still going strong.

Visit to Capen Park

Today I visited Capen Park here in Columbia. Year-round, the views are spectacular, but today even more so because the fall colors were starting to show.

  

Bittersweet Park

Bittersweet Park is a beautiful urban oasis I came across in Greeley, Colorado. I spent much of the morning there and was treated to some wonderful landscapes.
