Along Mulholland Drive

Mulholland Drive is one of my favorite places to go in L.A. It's such a part of both the City's history and movie history. Two movies come to mind immediately with Mulholland in the title. There is a web site with more information about Mulholland Drive; it's link can be found in the Landmarks I've Visited section.

Here is that shot again, you know, the one all the movies use when they're blowing up L.A.

Stairs leading to the hilltop at the roadside stopping place I went to get the above photo.

The Hollywood Bowl.

Look familiar? It's a reprise of a photo I took of the same house in 2002.

The San Fernando Valley stretches for miles. The Valley alone is probably larger than most U.S. cities.

Now we're on Mulholland Highway. This is a small town northwest of L.A.
