Hyde Park: The Serpentine

The Serpentine is a large man-made lake in the middle of Hyde Park. It features boat rentals and is another popular place for locals to spend their weekends. As usual, please check the link for Hyde Park in the British Landmarks I've Visited section for complete information.

A long view of the lake from the east end. Serpentine Bridge can be see in the distance.

Fellow park goers enjoy a walk along the lake.

Another shot of the lake with Serpentine Bridge in the background.

Looking back toward the east.

The Serpentine Bridge.

The Lido. I had lunch there.

More of Serpentine Bridge.

Patrons enjoy their Sunday at the park, seemingly unfazed by the interloping American.

One more shot of Serpentine Bridge. OK, so I like bridges.
